Atomized paint particles are positively charged and are drawn to grounded metal objects. Atomization occurs due to centrifugal force and the electrostatic charge rather than air being introduced at the tip. This is why electrostatic painting is so effective.

With electrostatic methods, we can apply different types of paint including many OEM-equivalent, low-VOC paint coatings. We work with two-component epoxies, polyurethanes, and fluoro-polymers. Through the process, the coatings are forced to cure or bake into the surface with chemicals and not heat. This provides a uniform film thickness and consistent look.   • Building Ventilation: Must be on continuously during and after painting (four to six hours)
  • Floor Space: For office furniture, please clear about 20 square feet; for filing cabinets, clear the space entirely
  • Lighting: Standard office lighting is okay, but construction lights or windows require additional lighting (temporary lighting is available upon request)
  • Paint: Choose between solid or metallic (metallic finishes are limited and more expensive)
  • Electrical: 110V outlet and 30-amp minimum fuse are required within 100 feet (generators can be provided by EPR)
  • Trades: We work best when we coordinate with other trades
  • Pricing: Standard pricing is based on painting over factor finishes or equivalent finishes
